The Los Alamos Big Band has more than 300 charts in its catalog. Many of you would recognize the melody if not the title. Most come from the golden era of the 40s and 50s when swing bands like Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Count Basie, and Tommy Dorsey were the popular music that everyone listened and danced to. Big Bands have survived and their music has adapted to include versions of rock and roll, opera, Broadway, symphony, movie, and pop tunes.
Here is a sampling of music in our book that we have played on many occasions. There are more including seasonal songs and medleys. If you have specific requests, we might already have what you are looking for. Go ahead and ask!
